Step 1: Submit Your Online Application

Step 2: Get Feedback (within 7 business days)
Receive an update on your application status.

Step 3: Attend the Entrance Exam (if required) & Admissions Interview
Participate in an interview or exam, depending on the program.

Step 4: Preliminary Approval & Application Fee Payment
Receive preliminary approval, read terms and conditions, then pay the application fee.

Step 5: Document Processing for Enrollment (up to 1 month)

  • Translation and certification of documents into Georgian
  • Submission of documents for recognition and enrollment.(Copy of Passport and School Certificate (School certificate (certificate / report card, which must be written that it is Annual / Cambridge certificate must be A level and it must be written that the grades are obtained within the framework of Advanced Level and must include at least three subjects, provisional certificate is not recognized here, as well as O Level and Advanced Subsidiary level, Turkey National Exam Certificate with the result of being in the list of first 50000 students for the Medicine program and 80000 for Dentistry (For Turkish citizens only)

Step 6: Enrollment & Tuition Payment (within 5 calendar days)
Receive the official enrollment order, sign the agreement, and pay the tuition fee.

Step 7: Invitation Letter
Get your official invitation letter.

Step 8: Visa Requirements
Check visa requirements and apply for a D3 Study Visa if needed.

Step 9: Plan Your Arrival
Prepare your documents, arrange travel, and share your arrival details with the admissions officer.

 

Information about visas and embassies

  • An alien shall apply to the Agency for a residence permit in Georgia 40 calendar days before the expiration of his/her lawful stay in Georgia. (This requirement does not apply to lifelong residence permits, investment residence permits, special residence permits, temporary residence permits (victims of domestic violence) and short-term residence permits, as well as to an alien staying in another country, wishing to apply the Agency in electronic form for extension of his/her residence permit in Georgia).
  • A residence permit in Georgia is issued to an alien lawfully staying in Georgia who meets the conditions set forth in the Law of Georgia on the Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons.
  • An asylum seeker for the purposes of issuing a residence permit in Georgia is not considered to be a person lawfully staying in Georgia.
  • A residence permit in Georgia is not issued to an alien who, at the moment of submitting an application for a residence permit in Georgia, stays in Georgia on the basis of deferment of the obligation to leave Georgia.
  • Residence permit in Georgia (except for investment residence permit, special residence permit and temporary residence permit/residence permit for victims of domestic violence provided for by subparagraph “i” of Article 15 of the Law of Georgia on the Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons) is not issued on the basis of C category ordinary visa.
  • Residence permit in Georgia (except for investment residence permit, special residence permit and temporary residence permit/residence permit for victims of domestic violence provided for by subparagraph “i” of Article 15 of the Law of Georgia on the Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons) is not issued to an alien, who stays in Georgia in accordance with the rule established by paragraph 31 of Article 10 of the same Law (to an alien who stays in Georgia on the basis of a visa or/and residence permit of a country defined by the Ordinance 256 of the Government of Georgia dated 5 June 2015).
  • An alien lawfully staying in Georgia who has a residence permit provided by the Law of Georgia on the Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons has the right to apply to the Agency for another type of residence permit if he/she meets the requirements established for issuance of a relevant type residence permit.

 

A study residence permit is issued for the purpose of studying at an authorized Georgia educational institution.

To obtain a study residence permit, an alien must submit to the Agency:

A. an application in the established form;
B.a copy of the alien’s travel document;
C.a copy of the document evidencing the alien’s lawful stay in Georgia;
D. a certificate issued by an authorized Georgian educational institution confirming that the alien is studying at that institution (indicating the anticipated duration of the study);
E.  a document evidencing legal income earned in Georgia by the alien and/or by a Georgian citizen or by his/her relative having the right of residence in Georgia and a document confirming kinship with this person; the money in the alien’s personal bank account may also be considered as income; the monthly amount of the money, taking into account the duration of the study residence permit, shall not be less than double the amount of the minimum subsistence level for average consumers in Georgia;
F. a color photo, 3/4 in size, in electronic form;
G. a receipt evidencing payment of the service fee.

Residence Permit Application Form

Crimson Academia English Language course offers for Grigol Robakidze University applicants!
Courses:
1.     A 1 to A2      
2.    A2 to  B1  
3.    B1 to B2 
4.    B2  -  Academic English 

The duration of each course is 3 months.

The main purpose of each course (except B2) is to achieve the next level of language competence (reading/writing/listening/speaking). 
Lessons are conducted online.
At the end of each course students take tests. Certificates are awarded based on the end of course test results.
B2 is the academic English course and improves the applicant’s academic writing. Certificate is awarded based on the academic performance of the student.

Fees: 300 USD per each course  + 110 USD for books and teaching material  should be paid before the start of the course
